MY MICHAEL JACKSON RANT

This is my official "rant" on Michael Jackson because all the crap in the media and on the internets is just getting mean, vicious and frustrating. So I'm gonna say this all at once and get it outta my system and I won't have to go onto forums and start vicious word wars with other posters. God knows we don't want that to happen!

Okay here I go. Michael Jackson was arguably, the best entertainer we have ever known. I doubt there is anyone out there that doesn't at least like ONE of MJs songs or videos. The man is dead. It is a sad and a very painful thing for a lot of people, me included, because he was a part of our whole LIFE! He was the soundtrack of a generation. Michael died too young and needlessly. The man had an ADDICTION. Yes, he chose to take drugs but he was addicted. The facts are he had MANY MANY MDs who were enabling him by giving him these very powerful drugs. He had a doctor LIVING with him and yet, he still died. If the reports are to be believed and I have no doubt they do, MJ was emaciated, he was full of needle marks, he was taking alot of meds, not eating and rehearsing for a very grueling tour that would be difficult for a 20 year old. MJ was 50. What in the Holy CHRIST were his handlers (managers, agents etc) thinking? Before MJ died I knew he couldn't get through those concerts, and guess what? He didn't! He's DEAD!!! Nobody talked him out of or tried to deter him from these concerts?! They had to have known he couldn't do it!! Obviously MJ was too high to make the proper decisions and the sychophants and hangers on only saw dollar signs.

I am not blaming his family. Well not totally. I won't go into Joe Jackson because that would take this rant way beyond the pale. MJs family TRIED to do an intervention. He did not let them on his property and he cut them out. He cut out people who spoke up to him. He was living in a drug fueled haze apparently and yet no one not even the many MD's oh I don't know, didn't think, Geez, there is no way in hell MJ can tour when he is a freaking skeleton, not eating and taking potent narcotics, sedatives and some damn ANETSTHETIC that is only used in HOSPITALS!!! Is it any surprise the guys heart stopped? And don't get me started on the fact that the CARDIOLOGIST he had living with him did not have a DEFIBLIRATOR on site. I bet you dollars to donuts MJ would probably be alive now if he had a shock to his heart right away.

Someone should have done something. Called CPS and perhaps the threat of taking his children away would have caused him to finally get the help he needed. In fact, I'm' sure if anything would have done it, THAT would have.

So now what are we left with? We've got the family ARGUING over where he is to be buried since it seems they want to make money off this thing. MJ doesn't want to be at NEVERLAND he said so. He stated in interviews it was tainted and he wasn't going back. Why in the hell would he want to be buried there? Put the man in Forest Lawn where his fans can see him. They way he talked about his love of fans, he would want somewhere they could go to pay their respects. Then, if the Jackson family wants to/needs to do some Memorial Theme park or whatever...go for it. Hell, Jermaine sounded damn good at the Memorial singing SMILE. Get him back on a label, reunite the remaining brothers; but stop the fighting over the money. MJ is gone and he ain't coming back and that's the cold reality. The family needs to take good care of his precious kids and bring them up in a loving, caring and as NORMAL an environment as they can. When the kids turn 18 then they can decide what, if any, public life they want to lead.

And as for the molestation crap; I am so sick of reading on TEH INTERNETS how MJ is a pedophile and a child molestor and good riddance. If you don't like the man, then just shut up. This will die down in a while. All he wanted to do was love and be loved and gave us some great music. Chill out, listen to some of his songs and believe me, you'll be feeling fine. MJ paid out a kid $20 million because he wanted the whole thing to go away. He made the wrong decision cause it made him look guility, however, that kid HAS NOW ADMITTED that his own father made him make the accusations for MONEY! The second accusation led to a court trial and MJ was found INNOCENT! It seems the motives of that child's family had a lot to do with seeing $$$ signs too. I believed for a while that maybe the charges were true and I lamented at the heartbreaking reality of what MJ had become in appearance. I don't think he was guilty. Perhaps some questionable things did take place, we'll never really know. That is between MJ and GOD or whatever LOVE FORCE we enter in the next realm.

I am gonna miss MJ alot. It's true, you really don't know what you got til it's gone. MJs gone too soon. Elvis gone too soon. Anna Nicole, Marilyn Monroe, Heath Ledger gone too soon. River Phoenix, gone too soon. Why? Drugs. To quote Southparks Mr. Mackey, "Drugs are bad, Mmmmkay!" Now I am gonna go listen to my Thriller CD and enjoy some damn good tunes that will NEVER DIE!!!
