IDIOT SEES VIRGIN MARY IN HER IRONING BOARD
Yes, some whack job in, SURPRISE, Texas, has alledged to have seen an image of the Virgin Mary in all her holy glory, simply Click here to see the "miracle" for yourself. Now come on, if you were the VM (as I like to call her) would you appear in cheese sandwhiches, potato chips or dirty windows? Nooooo, you would not! Either appear in full apparition or don't. Maybe God is having a laugh at the expense of all the idiots who will pay big bucks for this crap on ebay. Jesus, God and VM are probably laughing at how gullible/stupid some humans are. Until I see the VM live in my room performing some miracle, I will remain skeptical that the all powerful gods would choose to reveal themselves in ironing boards.
THE ONION PRESENTS A LOST PARODY TV SHOW
The new series, a half-hour family-oriented comedy called Where There’s Smoke, is touted by ABC as the new anchor of its Thursday-night lineup.
“Somewhere between the smoke monster’s first appearance on Lost— when it was depicted as a strange unseen force uprooting trees—and that episode in season three where it grabbed Mr. Eko and smashed him against the ground until he was dead, this character became the breakout star of the show,” said Stephen McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment. “And that’s exactly why we’re so excited about Where There’s Smoke. We get to see the monster’s light comedic side in a show about life, love, and good friends having good times.”
“Because after all, Where There’s Smoke, there’s laughter,” McPherson added.
LOST REWATCH STARTS JUNE 1st
The great LOST rewatch uniting several big LOST blogs is set to start on June 1st and take us straight through to Season 6. For information on the schedule or to just read the insights, check out docartz.com for the revelant info. Sounds fun and ABC.com should have all the episodes online if you don't own the DVDs. I am gonna try and do recaps of all the older episodes. Lord knows, I got the time right now!!!
JON AND KATE ARE IDIOTS
Yes Jon and Kate are everywhere and honestly, what the hell have they done but spawned a litter of kids! It's done everyday in every country around the world. Big flipping deal. Kate knew what she was in for when she started those infertility treatments at such a young age and then decried that it was Society's obligation to help out since society created infertility treatments in the first place. WTF??????? If you can't afford to pay for your kids either A. Don't have them or B. Give them up for adoption. Kate is a mean bitch and treats Jon like crap. As the shows progressed it went from a show about cute kids to one about how Kate treats Jon and how/if he will stand up for himself. They've gotten loads of freebies and are worth at least $10 million. Is that not obscene? I'm gonna have me a litter of kids so I can get rich. They claim they have no help but it's readily apparent they have nannies. Ms Stay at home Kate is off plugging her book so she's never home. Who's taking care of the kids? Jon and the nannies. It's obvious from the show that Jon took a great deal of the responsibility of taking care of the kids while Kate yelled and criticized from the sidelines. Jon's no angel but if there's a divorce HE should get custody and Kate should pay support. It's obvious she wants the least amount to do with her kids as she can. How sad for those poor kids. I hope J & K have funds set up for those kids because it is THEY who are making the money for that family. For the trutch behind the PR spin check out the website Gosselinswithoutpity.com. Very insightful.
ABC and JJ ABRAHAMS HAVE CONFIRMED THE LOST STATUE
The Statue IS Tawaret. Check Wikipedia for further insights into that and what meanings it may hold. She is the goddess of fertility plus more stuff that is too convulted to go into right now. Oh what will Season 6 hold? Speculation on the LOST blogs is running rampant. Personally, I'd like to think Vincent is really GOD and he's overseeing everything the idiots on the Island are doing and will be the only one to survive at the end. Wouldn't that be cool?
X-MENS ORIGINS: WOLVERINE
I went to see this on Sunday with my friend Audrey. After a delightful meal at the outback we headed to the theatre. It was pretty empty for the Sunday before labor day but at least we didn't have to have idiot kids with their cell phone texting during the movie (what in the hell is SO important that you spend $8 bucks for a movie and still have to consult your damn cell phone????). Anyway, I have never seen any of the Xmen stuff and I like Hugh Jackman so we decided a glimpse of Jackman's butt was well worth the price. The movie was good, lots of adventure, fighting, chases. The usual par for the course stuff. Jackman's wife is killed and he vows revenge but (SPOILERS) it turns out she isn't really dead and was working with the baddies but in the end (as par for the movie course) she really did love Hugh (or his bod) and risked her life to save him. So, now she's deader then dead and Wolverine has his mind erased so he remembers nothing of her, his brother or his past. And that in a nutshell my friends, is the Wolvering Origins movie.
LOST PROMOS
There are some LOST promos floating around on Youtube with Jack and Terry Hatcher (From Desperate Housewives) which is quite funny. And another one with Hurley. I don't have the energy to post the links so I'm sure you can find them. Also check out the clip of Jack and Jimmy Kimmel (major LOST fan) having a staring contest. Funny stuff.
LOST IN GENERAL
Just cause it's the hiatus doesn't mean that I am going to stop writing about and speculating about LOST. So be prepared. I'm alos in the midst of rewatching old House shows so that my show up on this blog. Personally I hope House doesn't kick the Vicodin habit, he's more funny an interesting and ascerbic when he's on the pills.

LOST REWATCHING RECAPS COMING SOON
Since my Wed nights are now free until January I think I will start rewatching the show from the beginning (thanks ABC.com) and post my thoughts, opinions, speculations and theories based on that show plus what I know from all the other seasons (hindsight, if you will). One day, LOST is going to be a legend in TV shows and speculation about it will probably go on forever. Let's count ourselves lucky that we get to experience it now and be a part of TV history.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AUNT JOAN!!!!!
ANNOYING PERSON OF THE MONTH: KATE GOSSELIN
This yahoo really has to take the cake. I have watched the show, I admit. And in the beginning it was interesting seeing how the family coped with having 8 children and how they dealt with things like shopping, changing diapers, feedings and things like that. An average family trying to do their best. Their was love between Jon and Kate and affection shown to the kids. As the show progressed and the freebies rolled in, the all expense vacations, the mansion they acquired and Kate's horrible treatment of Jon (and her kids, especially the poor boys) really made me sick. I thought I was the only one. Then I found the website Gosselins without pity which brings all the lies and deciet to light. Looks like the media is finally catching on. Kate Gosseling is only concerned with herself and making as much money and being as famous as possible. While Jon is no saint, he does appear to love his kids and you can tell that they favor him over Mommy dearest. It's time for this show to end and those poor kids to lead normal lives. They must have more than enough money now. I'm sure in 20 years we will be reading "Kate dearest" books and having the True Hollywood Story: The Gosselins exposed as the kids spill their guts about growing up in that environment.

THE FIRST WEDNESDAY WITHOUT LOST, WAAAH!!!!
Yes, it is the first Wednesday since late January without LOST to watch. And there are 8 months until the final season. EIGHT FLIPPING MONTHS! Can someome please put me in a drug induced coma and awaken me for the Season 6 premiere? Well, there is certainly alot of stuff from this season's finale to ruminate over and discuss and theorize about. That's what is great about LOST it's a TV show that makes you think and brings about intelligent discussion. Sometimes alot of that intelligent discussion goes over my head, but still, I learn things and glean from it. I am going to rewatch all the shows from the start with some groups on other LOST sites. I missed almost all Season Two episodes due to issues I won't go into but I was back into it and totally obsessed by Season Three.
I had a thought that maybe Jack and Locke would end up as new time keepers of the Island ala Jacob and Mr X (the guy in black who is impersonating Locke). But then again, that sounds kinda dumb as it appears that Jacob and Mr X are playing some sort of game. Kinda makes me think of that scene from one of the Bill and Ted Movies where they play games with Death!! HA HA. Yes I know this has nothing to do with LOST but it is kinda funny. Are Jacob and Mr X Satan and God playing a game with humanity? That would be interesting but probably not how it will go down. I really do thing though that Jacob was talking about the Losties when he said "They're coming" when he was stabbed. I think the Losties, memories of all intact are gonna be sent back to the future (ha ha another movie reference) and fight in the "war" that Widmore said was coming. Juliet will probably be dead unfortunately but I have heard the actress who plays her will be making some cameos next season. The real Locke is dead but I still hope that somehow he plays a major role and helps save the day. Perhaps Miles and Hurley will be able to communicate with his body? There's got to be a reason Miles is on the Island besides seeing himself as a baby and saving his Dad (except for the hand.....).
What questions would I want answered in Season 6? I am glad you asked!!! I would like to know what Aaron and Walt have to do with anything? Aren't they supposed to be "special"? Who are Jacob and Mr X and why are they playing a game in the first place? What are the real roles of Ben and Widmore? What the hell happened with Claire? I also hope everyone winds up and stays on the Island where they belong. The scenes of the O6 back to civilization was BORING for the most part and I think us fans want our Losties on the Island where it began and where it will end (not a final ending but the ending of the show). Oh and by the by, LOST is going to be on THURSDAY nights next season. I'm not sure what time but I would imagine it will be at 9 pm same as usual. Now, I must go cry into my pillow for a bit but I will persevere and make it through these long 8 months the same as I did last time. And this time I know what state I'll be in when the new season starts!!!! (NO, not a state of confusion.......)
(UPDATE) I wanted to add a few more thoughts I had on the finale before I forget them. Obviously Mr X is taking Locke's form. But does he also take Christian's as well? Yes and No. When we see the form of Christian with the WHITE SHOES this is Jacob. When we see Christian with black shoes (the ones that Jack put on the real corpse of Locke) then that is Mr X. Also--I've read on some websites where people don't get Jacob's flashback interaction with Jack when he hands him the Candy bar and says something to the effect of "All it needed was a little push." I think that refers to the scene in the operating room when Jack froze when he made that mistake and Christian's speech "gave him a little push" which allowed Jack to successfully complete the surgery. And my very last thought for now is about Jacob touching certain people (Sayid, Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Sun and Jin)--if you notice, when Ben stabs Jacob, Jacob falls onto Ben and also touches him! Perhaps these people who were touched will be the ones who are sent to the future with their memories of the past intact? Okay I am done, for NOW!
PS Vincent Rules!!!!

LOST SEASON FIVE FINALE: THE INCIDENT PARTS 1 & 2
OMG another season of LOST is over. It seems like it just started! Now I look at the LOST counter on the homepage of my blog and it is showing a ginormous (yeah I know, not a real word but it fits) amount of days until it starts again. And next year is the last season. What the hell am I gonna do then???? Holy cripes I'm gonna have to get me a life!! HA HA. Well I suppose for the hiatus I will rewatch from Season 1 and join the rewatching parties over at such LOST sites as Dark UFO and Nik at Night.
But onto the finale. It starts out with some dude in white watching a ship in the distance and cooking up a very nice piece of fresh fish. Biblical reference anyone? Well this dude is JACOB, THE Jacob that we have been waiting to see since forever. Not what I expected. I really thought Jacob was going to be Locke or Jack stuck in time. But Nooooo. Wrong again. We get a look at the intact statue which there has been much speculation on who it is. It's egyptian and could be many deities. I believe the ABC site confirmed it was Tawret but as I write this I am not sure and I don't feel like going to look it up. Anyhoo, I believe the ship in the distance is probably the Black Rock, you know, that ship in the middle of the Island, and the one Richard has been building in that bottle we've seen of late.
Soon another dude in Black shows up. Looks like he wants to kill Jacob but can't physically do it. Jacob does not seem to be overly concerned by this and is all "Bring it on dude, I'll be here when you finally figure out how to ice me." The dude, which many people are calling ESAU for simplicity's sake (Jacob and Esau are brothers in the bible who have a dispute which i won't go into. If you need to know more then open up your Bible and READ!) says he will fine a loophole and refuses Jacobs kind offer to share the fish. Now, I don't know what time period this takes place in, but if indeed it is the Black Rock ship and the statue is intact it has to be around the 1800s although Jacob and Esau don't seem dressed like you'd think they'd be for that era. Oh yeah, we also see Jacob spinning or weaving threads. Kinda like the fates in the ancient greek stories. Is it the threads of the Losties lives? Hmmmm..........
Well we've now met Jacob and we have discovered that Locke is not really Locke. Oh no my friends, he is Mock Locke. It's the Esau dude taking on Locke's form. He has found his loophole. He can't kill Jacob himself but he can get Ben to do it. Ben is prime for it with Mock Lock stoking the fire by asking why WOULDN'T he want to kill him after all Jacob hasn't done for him? Ben tried to get Locke once upon a time to kill his own father (which Sawyer eventually did) and now Mock Locke is getting Ben to kill Jacob. WTH????? I was kinda sad at this because it means LOCKE is dead. Really dead. Was he just a pawn in this game between Jacob and Esau? Or will somehow real Locke be resurrected and redeemed? If not, the poor guy, going through all that, thinking he was special and it turns out he was manipulated to fulfill a loophole in some game played by two ancient guys.
We see flashbacks of Jacob interacting with Kate, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and Jin, Sawyer and Ilana. Jacob touches everyone of them except Ilana. Is he making some kind of mark on them? It seems that Jacob may have anticipated Esau's loophole and is doing something to offset it. Jacob seems caring and friendly and even appears to resurrect Locke after he is thrown out the window by his bad dad. But is Jacob good? With this show, you never know. It would SEEM that Jacob is good but it could always be a red herring. After all, one could argue that his helping Kate out by buying that NKOTB lunchbox enabled her thievery and the giving of the pen to Sawyer allowed him to write that letter that would become his motive for Revenge all his life up to crashing on the Island. Did Jacob cause Nadia to get killed by calling out to Sayid, or did his actions save Sayid and Nadia was just fated to die? This show gives answers but then gives ten more questions with those answers. Either way it is coming down to a game of good vs evil or destiny vs free will or shades of gray.
Back in the 70's we have Jack all hopped up to ignite the bomb and reset the past, or so he thinks. Kate, Juliet and Sawyer go to stop him, Sawyer goes Postal on Jack and then Juliet breaks the boys up by saying she's changed her mind. WHAT????? So now she thinks it's a good idea to blow up everyone and the Island because Sawyer gave Kate some look? And Kate changes her mind after Jack tells her that this is the only way to ensure that Claire is reunited with her dingo bay-beh.
Poor Sayid is squirting out buckets O'blood while Jack and Sawyer have their smackdown but I guess Jack isn't too concerned because if his theory works, Sayid will be arriving safe and sound in Los Angeles. No harm, no foul. Miles is the voice of sanity when he states that perhaps the setting off of the nuke is what CAUSES the incident and you know, maybe they should just leave well enough alone? They probably should, but they won't!
I was glad to see VINCENT!!!! When he came running up to Saywer on the beach I was like YEAH!!!! And there were Rose and Bernard hanging out for three years under the radar, enjoying the life of Papayas and Dharma canned food they salvaged. Kate tells them about the bomb and Rose is like "It's always something with you people". It sure is. I think that Rose and Bernard should have been a bit happier to see their Island buds after three years with just each other. Even for just a visit. They do offer to tea to Juliet, which she declines after touching her stomache. Is she preggers or is this some innocuous thing that we interpret as something else because it's LOST? Probably the latter. Or the ladder as in Jacob's ladder? Ha ha. There I go reaching again at something that probably has little bearing on anything. But then again, you never know so I am throwing it out there.
Now we get to the part where Radzinsky is going bonkers about the drilling and won't stop no matter what. The drill hits the pocket of energy and naturally, all hell breaks loose. The Losties arrive and there is a shoot out and things being pulled by the magnetic force. Good to see Phil get splattered by the beam thing hitting him. Bye Phil we hardly new ye and good riddance to you. The Losties cover Jack so that he can throw the bomb down the shaft. Sayid has supposedly rigged the thing to go off on impact. It doesn't. Good old Pierre Chang gets his hand munched as we all knew happened and his son, Miles, saves him from further damage. It was really rather sweet when Miles yelled "Dad" for the first time and came to his father's aid.
The heartbreaking part of all of this is when Juliet is attached to a bunch of chains and sucked into the hole by the electro magnetic force. Kinda like Smokey dragging people into holes. Coincidence? Jules is holding on for dear life and Kate and Sawyer valiantly try to save her. Juliet sees everything falling and knows Sawyer will get smacked down himself so she lets go of his hand and falls to her doom. Or does she? Sawyer freaked out and damn I had the tears in my eyes I must admit. Jack and Kate have to drag him away. We next see Juliet, down in the shaft, a bloody and mangled mess. She would rather die or reset things than to lose Sawyer. Ahhh, how damn romantic. It's the Romeo and Juliet of the Technological World. Hey, I'd rather have my memory erased and start over then remember your damn face! With whatever strength she has she grabs a boulder and smashes the bomb (apparently 8 times as mentioned by another blog site) and then everything goes white. Did the bomb go off? Did Juliet die? Are things reset or was the flash of light the same thing that happened right before they were hurled in time??? Tune in next January to find out.
Wait, I'm not done. I need to get back to Mock Locke, Ben, Jacob and the Ajira people. First of all, they declare something about Frank being a "good candidate". For what? Both Frank and us viewers wanna know dammit. A vessel for Jacob? But wait, Frank's alive! So back in the statue, Mock Locke and Ben confront Jacob. Ben whines about "what about me" waah waah waah and then Jacob is all, "what about you" and so Ben does the natural thing that anyone would do in this situation, and stabs him. So now is Ben just a pathetic pawn rather than the sinister dude we've all come to love/hate? I hope not. If you ask me, and even if you didn't I'm gonna say what I think cause it's my blog. If you ask me, Jacob knew and perhaps even planned this. He didn't try to run away or fight. He egged Ben on by saying the exact WRONG thing and just stood there as Ben did his impression of Jason Vorhees. Oh yeah, and it appears Jacob knew the moment he saw Mock Locke that it was Esau cause he says to him something along the lines of " I guess you found the loophole". Again, my take is that Jacob is still one step ahead of this game and when he tells Mock Locke "they're coming" it pisses the hell out of dark dude so he tosses Jacob onto a roasting fire. Mmmm. Fish anyone?
That may be just what Jacob wanted. Could he be a Phoenix rising from the ashes? When he says that they are coming does he mean Ilana's crew or the Losties? Either way, Mock Locke ain't too happy about it. Some have speculated that Ilana may be some sort of Egyptian Goddess with restorative powers and that's why Jacob came to her to ask for her help. Ilana certainly knows alot more and I'm sure she will be spilling to the Losties when they are foomed back to the present. You really don't think they are gonna go reset the future do you? I mean, erase all that happened? No way. That would be like we watched all 6 seasons for everything to have never happened anyway. To quote Daniel, "Whatever happened, happened." So I think Daniel was right and he was wrong. You can't change the past, whatever happened, happened. But you CAN change the future by your actions that come about by free will and some Destiny thrown in. The Losties are gonna come back to the present with the knowledge they have gained from the past and that is what is going to make them change the future by winning the war. THEY are the variables!
I could go on and on about this episode. It had all kinds of excited things stuffed into it. It got me to thinking about Jacob being like "God" let's say. And those that believe in him have faith, even though they do not see him. Ben had Faith, but then lost it. No pun intended there. Much like we all do. Sometimes we want to see God as proof. Especially when something horrible happens and we wonder where was God??? If we were to confront God, as did Ben, would we ask, "well what about me?" I'm sure a great many of us would. Why not me? Why me? We would be angry. But the anger dissapates (hopefully!!) and we again have Faith even if we aren't given "proof". Or hell maybe we are all Pawns in God's little game and are helpless to do anything!! These are all good questions and no one really has an answer. But it does make you think, and as we all know, thinking is good, reading is fundamental and all that other crap.
I will add one last piece about Jacob and his Cabin. I don't think it was Jacob's. I think Jacob or someone had imprisoned Esau there (hence the ash around the place) that was then broken allowing Esau to escape and assume the forms of dead people to suit his needs. When Ben brought Locke to that cabin originally it was ESAU who was saying "Help me" to Locke and Christian was speaking for Jacob because Jacob was never there! He was in the damn statue.
What lies in the shadow of the statue asked Ilana to Richard. Richard responded in Latin with something that has been translated as "He who will save us all". Jacob is IN the statue, not in its shadow. Could it be the dead body of Locke that will save them as that's where he is laying right now. Or could it be Ben? Remember when Ben stated that "I lie. That's what I do." Hey, it might seem like a stretch in most cases but when it comes to LOST, anything goes, and how we love every last minute. January is a long way off but we made it through last time and we will make it through this time FOR THE LAST time. Time. Only fools are enslaved by space and time!
PS Please bring back Desmond next season without that annoying cloying Penny hanging about him!
WELCOME BACK ME TO 2009
I now have my computer functioning and my cable TV and DVR hooked up. Ahhh, I felt so lost without it and now it's back. I was literally going mental not being able to go online and read the reaction to the LOST finale. It was torture, it was hell. But, I made it through. Now all I have to do is find a job to pay for it. HA HA.
LAND OF THE LOST
The remake of Land of the Lost will be coming out soon starring Wil Ferrell and damn, I cannot wait to see it. Little Chaka, the Sleestak, and Dopey the sweet veggie Dino. I hope they don't muck it up like they did when they "remade" the show on TV a few years back. Who can get that theme song outta their heads either: "Marshall, Will and Holly on a routine expedition met the greatest earthquake ever known....." Sing it with me! I wonder if they will have Enok the good Sleestak on there? Guess I'll find out soon, coming to a theatre near me.
OMG another season of LOST is over. It seems like it just started! Now I look at the LOST counter on the homepage of my blog and it is showing a ginormous (yeah I know, not a real word but it fits) amount of days until it starts again.

LOST: THE VARIABLE
Another great episode obviously the counterpoint to the classic "The Constant". LOST is full of opposites: faith vs destiny being an example which is exactly what these two episodes represent. Is everything set in stone WHH (Whatever happened happened) or is Daniel's about face correct that it is Free Will which governs (people's choice being the "variable?") Damn these are profound questions that I think all of us grapple with and the show really makes you think about these questions. Can there be Destiny AND Free Will? Is there a Constant that will happen no matter what but variables can make how we get to it change? Or is history WHAT HAPPENED due to our free will and thus now cannot be changed? I am gonna be up nights pondering these questions, I kid you not!
I love how at the beginning of the episode we see young Daniel playing the piano. I noticed the song he was playing was "I'm always chasing rainbows" kind of a Wizard of Oz allusion as well as a literal one in Daniel's case. Was his destiny to be a music virtuoso and he was pushed by his mother to be the scientific wacko genius we all know and love? But then again, his Destiny, no matter what he wanted, was to ultimately be a corpus Delecti courtesy of Mommy Dearest. Maybe Miles and/or Hurley can talk to his dead self. I think he is dead--Dead is Dead, right? Wrong. This is Lost and anything is possible. Another interesting thing from this scene is Daniel telling his mother he can "make time" for both music and his scientific genius. "If only you could" is her resigned reply.
I loved the meeting of the time travelers at Juliet and Sawyers place. They pretty much know the jig is up what with Phil having blackmail evidence as he bleeds all over the cabinets of Casa de Le Fleur and "Twitchy" showing up out of the blue totally changing his WHH tune. Sawyer calling Kate "Freckles" leads poor Juliet to give up the sonic fence code as she aptly states "It's all over here for us anyway". How right she is and she's known that since Hurley, Kate and Jack showed back up. Finally Sawyer is resigned to the fact that his idyllic three year Dharma ride is over as well. Sawyer thinks taking Faraday to the Hostiles is a mistake and gets ready to lead his people minus Kate and Jack, to the beach. Sawyer's leadership days are numbered as it looks like Workman Jack is back in the saddle again.
The scene where Daniel confronts Chang has me a bit confused. I'm really not sure why Miles denied who he is and didn't back up Faraday's claims. Another weird thing is why Faraday wanted a weapon when A. He didn't know how to use it properly and B. There was no need for it. I mean, if he wasn't brandishing a weapon like an idiot then Radzinsky and company probably wouldn't have shot at him and going into the Hostiles camp with a weapon was really, really stupid. It's almost like Daniel had a death wish. Did he somehow know he was going to die? It did seem a surprise to him that it was his Mother who pulled the fatal trigger.
As for Eloise, what the hell man? Does she really have clairvoyance or perhaps, the reason she knows what she does is that after Daniel is killed in the 70's young Eloise takes his journal and knows due to the information from that and when Daniel is killed, that is the end of her knowledge. This is why she tells Penny for the first time she doesn't know what is going to happen next. She doesn't know because once Faraday is dead obviously the journal ends. So why is she so intent on preserving this timeline? If she is so sure WHH why doesn't she just let fate take it's course. Is something else supposed to happen ? Is she worried that somehow if there is a "variable" that can change things that it'll be worse than what originally happened? And why tell Desmond that the Island wasn't done with him? How does she know that if the journal ends? Does she perhaps have some knowledge that comes from something else? Perhaps like Desmond's flashes???? It is all so confusing but that's the beauty of the show. It makes you THINK.
I wasn't that surprised that Widmore turned out to be Daniel's Daddy but I'm still confused why Eloise knew how to get back to the Island but Widmore didn't. Of course Ben said once you turn the FDW you can't come back yet somehow both he and Locke made a return, why can't Widmore? Is Widmore bad? Did he fake the crash like he said or is he lying?
I had a weird theory that if the Losties change time than maybe instead of ending up on the island or landing back in LA safe and sound, they end up dead in the ocean just like the "faked" crash and that is the reason we are shown the scene of crazy mind trippy Daniel crying while he watches the TV footage and says "they are all dead". Maybe he realizes that he DID change things but instead of making things better, everyone died? Yeah I know, it has alot of holes in it for all kinds of other stuff (Smokey, the statue, Jacob etc) but hey, my mind had a mini light bulb so I had to share it however wrong it may be.
This leads me to my last point. WHY would the Losties want to try Daniel's very weird and scary plan of detonating jughead to change the future? They were all miserable people (druggie Jack, Arrested Kate, Revengeful Sawyer, etc etc.) Do they really think things will be BETTER? Wouldn't the Universe just course correct anyway? What happens to their 1970's selves, do they just disappear? So many questions! And yet another theory bandied about is that the Losties trigger the incident by trying to stop it. IRONY in a major way, another LOST theme. Much like Sayid shooting young Ben trying to stop him from becoming "bad Ben" when in fact, the shooting is what sets Ben on that course in the first place!
Only two more episodes left, I cannot believe it!!!! What the hell am I gonna do til next January? HA HA. I did read that the finale is going to show Vincent (YEAH!!!!!!) and give info on what happened to Rose and Bernard (finally).
BACK IN NH
Well I am back in NH homeless and jobless for the moment! It's like I never left really, which is odd. Much like LOST, I believe I was only meant to be in Texas for the time that I was there and that my real Destiny is to live in California. It's those damn variables though that keep getting in the way!!!! It's been great seeing my family and friends though. Hopefully things will be better, I will grow as a person, get a job and in the next couple of years finally realize my dream of living in CA which is where I feel I belong. Much like LOST though, who the hell knows monkey wrench will be thrown in to change things!!!!! But as far as I know, there is no smoke monster around. Unless......
