Damn! The Grim Reaper has been busy this month hasn't he? Ed McMahon, Farrah, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays and Fred Travalena (don't ask). I'm sure I'm missing someone. It's like Death Central all over the news. What the hell man??? Which Celeb is gonna be next? Watch out Hollywood, the Spectre of Death is looming!!!


LOST NEWS

LOST will be 18 hours next season rather than the 17 planned. There will be a two hour premiere and finale with the regular one hour weekly episodes in between. More LOST can never be a bad thing. And please, more scenes of a shirtless Desmond would be nice. That isn't too much to ask is it? No!!!!

GOODBYE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!

Well unless you've been under a rock or in a coma, you know Michael Jackson has died. True, he had been very "strange" in recent years, to put it mildly. Still he is unparalleled (arguably) in pop music. When I was a teen I LOVED MJ, thought he was cute and rushed home to watch THRILLER multiple times on MTV. I remember watching Motown 25 and being totally electrified with his performance of Billie Jean. It's too bad Michael changed so drastically since the THRILLER days, and its very sad he will not be here to give us any more music. My personal fave of his is "Human Nature" and "Off the Wall." LOST: HIATUS REWATCH

Paula and I will be doing a LOST rewatch during this final hiatus before
the final season of LOST. However, I have to find the LOST DVDs which
are still packed in some box down in the cellar. But sooner rather than
later LOST thoughts from the beginning will be posted by yours truly.
Any "excuse" to keep LOST going on this blog!!!! Is Jacob good or
bad??? Thoughts to ponder til January!!
The guy who plays Jacob will
be a recurring character on Supernatural, another of my fave shows, in Sept.
He will be playing the devil. Really. Devil on Supernatural God like
on LOST? Perhaps devil in both?? Hmm....

Well, my friend's daughter's little fish died as the good Lord decided the fish has fulfilled his/her purpose in life and it was time to swim in paradise. Either that, or because Paula forgot to clean the bowl! Anyway, rest in peace little fishy and swim in the good Lord's grace.


LAND OF THE LOST

Well I went to see LOTL with my niece and some friends last night as Audrey was unable to make it. We will be seeing UP next weekend with her son. Anyhoo, LOTL was playing at Chunky's, a place that serves food like a restaurant and you watch the movie from your table. Food is named after actors or movies. Which got us to thinking about honoring David Carradine, the dude who just died while "in the closet." Janis aka Pooh, came up with the "David Carradine's Kung Fu Pulled Pork." Keep in mind, Pooh had just consumed two Margarita's and was feeling no pain. As for the movie, I, my sister in law and niece liked it. We like Wil Ferrell. Pooh and Paula didn't seem to share our enthusiasm but hey, it was a fun night out so what the heck. Oh yes, for any of you original LOTL fans, Wesley Eure who played Will in the original just came out as Gay. Gives a whole new meaning to Will and Chaka's relationship now doesn't it?

Or dead, in this case. The dude from the TV series "Kung Fu" of which I have never seen, but I digress, is decomposing as we speak. David Carradine, 72, was found dead in Bangkok, hanging in a closet. The current CNN news story makes no mention of the fact that he was NAKED which was reported earlier, so I guess we will have to wait for the autopsy for the real scoop. Sounds like autoerotic to me. Nobody kills themselves naked. Who would want their bare ass to be the first thing paramedics see when they find your corpse? No way! Especially a celebrity. We shall see if the autopsy proves me right! (Yeah and now I can't get that Murray Head song outta my head! Just great...)

MTV MOVIE AWARDS: EMINEM ENJOYS SOME BUNS!!!!

HA HA HA. I didn't watch the show but I have of course seen the infamous clip of Eminem getting Bruno's (Sasha Baron Cohen) Buns in his face. Among other body parts. Was it or wasn't it staged? Either way, it was hysterical. I'm sure eminem knew. That landing took choreography. I guess 'ol Em has a sense of humor!

I'M A CELEBRITY .......GET ME OUT OF HERE.....

Okay, I admit it, I watched the show last night. Well, I had it on while I was online so basically the same thing. Since LOST has ended for the season I can only chalk up my viewing to crazed thinking. The only interesting part was watching Heidi and Spencer act like idiots. Unfortunately, they quit the show so basically there's no reason to watch. I'm not saying I like them, I think they are vapid fame whores with no talent. BUT it was fun watching them in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle sans any essentials. Guess we won't get to see either one of them getting eaten by a giant spider. Damn. The only "celebrity" on the show was Lou Diamond Phillips and he's too good for this crap. Now, I think a better idea would be to shove 80's hair band rockers into the jungle and watch the hilarity ensue. How about Brett Michaels, Anybody from Motley Crue, Sebastian Bach, that dude from Winger, and then maybe throw in some 70's dudes like Peter Frampton and Barry Manilow. Now THAT would be entertaining TV!!

UNEMPLOYMENT ABOUT TO END????

Yes, it seems it is a possibility. I am awaiting a call for a scheduled interview at a company near where I live making decent money and with good benefits. The training starts on June 15th. Keep your fingers crossed. I need money man. I need to get my hair and nails done! I want a new cell phone. Yep, just call me Kate Gosselin without the bitchiness, cheating husband and 8 kids.

I am planning on rewatching the episodes from the beginning. I really am. In fact, I may be watching tonight. Sunday starts the Blog wide re-discussion of the episodes from the Lostphere. I have 4 eps to watch. I will post my observations on the rewatch and I'm sure the entire world is waiting with bated breath for this to happen.
