DEAD FISH

Well, my friend's daughter's little fish died as the good Lord decided the fish has fulfilled his/her purpose in life and it was time to swim in paradise. Either that, or because Paula forgot to clean the bowl! Anyway, rest in peace little fishy and swim in the good Lord's grace.


LAND OF THE LOST

Well I went to see LOTL with my niece and some friends last night as Audrey was unable to make it. We will be seeing UP next weekend with her son. Anyhoo, LOTL was playing at Chunky's, a place that serves food like a restaurant and you watch the movie from your table. Food is named after actors or movies. Which got us to thinking about honoring David Carradine, the dude who just died while "in the closet." Janis aka Pooh, came up with the "David Carradine's Kung Fu Pulled Pork." Keep in mind, Pooh had just consumed two Margarita's and was feeling no pain. As for the movie, I, my sister in law and niece liked it. We like Wil Ferrell. Pooh and Paula didn't seem to share our enthusiasm but hey, it was a fun night out so what the heck. Oh yes, for any of you original LOTL fans, Wesley Eure who played Will in the original just came out as Gay. Gives a whole new meaning to Will and Chaka's relationship now doesn't it?
